Aleksandra Velimanović, master in the field of integrated management of natural resources, has been in the civil sector for 25 years, and since 2006 one of the founders and members of the citizens’ association “NIMBUS” from Loznica, the founder of the Network for Rural Development of Serbia. She is a member of Balkan Rural Development Network Gender Equality Hub. From 2021, extractive consultant of the organization “Earth Thrive”. She was awarded a scholarship by the Faculty, both for basic and postgraduate studies. During her years of work in the civil sector, she advocates for the promotion of rural development and sustainable communities, which sustainably use natural elements while protecting it. Her mission in life is to protect nature, from saving trees in the city park to public advocacy for changing habits related to the use and protection of natural elements.
