Emilie Reuchlin

Emilie Reuchlin is the co-founder and managing director of the Doggerland Foundation. Emilie has worked in international marine conservation and specifically North Sea for 20 years. She proposed and advocated for a North Sea network of Marine Protected Areas, fought off construction of massive energy islands on the Dogger Bank, helped establish a trawl ban in the UK part of the Dogger Bank and pioneered restoring oyster reefs in the North Sea. Emilie builds conservation stamina through swimming, diving and surfing her preferred habitat: the North Sea. In her spare time she volunteers with KNRM (the ‘Dutch RNLI’) to rescue lives at sea. With Doggerland Foundation she protects restores and fights for the right of North Sea ecosystems to exist. Her education includes a BA Political Science, MSc. Environment and Resource Management and MSc. Marine Biology.
